Hello from Post Studio!

We’re Beth and Erik – a husband and wife team who started Post Studio in 2013 when we moved into a loft apartment in downtown LA and desperately needed unique, colorful and affordable art for our walls. We couldn’t find anything that met all three criteria, so we started designing our own. We experimented with a process that involved pouring resin onto a wood-mounted print, which made our artwork shine and pop, and eliminated the need for expensive framing. Once we got the resin process down, we quickly branched out into making trays and coasters using the same technique. Now in our fourth year, we are excited to introduce our new line of home textiles which, like the rest of our products, are handmade with love in Los Angeles.

Post Studio's mission is to create colorful, affordable and functional home accessories. We think what makes Post Studio unique is that we start by designing simply for ourselves, and we live with and use all of our creations in our own home. All of our products are handmade in Los Angeles, and a lot of energy and love go into each item. Color and pattern are key elements in our design sensibility. We are heavily influenced by the vibrant colors of Southern California and it’s definitely reflected in our wares.

We’ve been very lucky to have our products sold at many stores – both big and small – including J.Crew, West Elm, Hallmark, and Lord & Taylor. Additionally, our products have been featured in print magazines such as Real Simple, Food & Wine, and Food Network, and online at Dwell.com, FastCoDesign.com, DesignSponge.com, and the LATimes.com.
